Same Sex Marriage

In the United States there are only 6 states in which same sex couples can get married; those states are Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire. That means 44 states out or the 50 are against same sex marriage. I find the government to be absolutely ridiculous. There are so many more important things that they should be worrying about. Same sex marriage doesn't hurt anyone but those who are affected by the law.  Seriously, how would you feel if you've fallen head over heels for someone and the government tells you no, it's not okay. Is it their life? Is it their decision? No, not at all. Homosexual people are not hurting anyone else but the government is hurting them.  I see no harm in legalizing same sex marriage.  I vote to legalize same sex marriage, why don’t you?
